Welcome to Oakbrook Elementary School
I am so excited that you are joining the OES family.
Working in education was a dream of mine from an early age. My educational journey began when I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston. I taught elementary and middle school for several years in Dorchester District Two. I then continued to pursue my career by obtaining a Master’s degree in Administration from the Citadel.
I have had the pleasure of serving the OES community as the Assistant Principal for 12 years and the Principal for the past 5. OES has been named a National Capturing Kids Hearts Showcase school for the 5th year in a row. This is a wonderful honor and a true reflection of the community we have at OES.
I look forward to a wonderful year working with all of the families and students at Oakbrook Elementary School. It is a pleasure to watch our students grow and move forward academically and socially. Our students are the future and we are planting the seeds of excellence at Oakbrook Elementary!
